Body Discovered in Hrazdan River

Today, on April 22, around 19:15, operational information was received at the Mashtots Police Department regarding a body found in the Hrazdan River, along the left bank of the road leading from the commonly known "Bidzhu Gyol" to the Hrazdan sports complex. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.

Community police officers and Mashtots police personnel verified the identity of the citizen who spotted the body in the river. However, by the time rescuers and police arrived on the scene, the river’s water level had risen, and the body was obscured from view.

Update: Around 22:00, a diver from the special rescue operations center, with great difficulty, managed to approach the body along with rescuers and safely retrieved it using ropes.
