Bus Driver of Route 8 Stabbed

Shortly after midnight, shamshyan.com reported that the driver of the bus serving route 8, registered under the Yerevan City Municipality, was stabbed on Halabyan Street.

It was noted that a patrol group from the Vardanyan police station arrived at the scene, led by a community police officer. The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident, as well as the identity of the stabbing victim, who, according to preliminary information, has been taken to the hospital.

Authorities are also trying to determine the motive behind the attack and the identity of the assailant.
