I Will Not Use Force, But I Have a Request: Give Us Greenland - Trump

The United States is the economic engine of the planet. When we prosper, the whole world prospers. I want Europe to thrive. We need strong allies. No country other than the United States can ensure the security of Greenland. This was stated by U.S. President Donald Trump.

"Only the United States can protect Greenland. I want to begin negotiations immediately to purchase it. There is nothing wrong with buying territory; many have done it before. Probably the most important statement: I will not use force.

We have been paying for NATO for years, protecting Europe from the USSR, from Russia. The only thing I’m asking for now is Greenland. Give us rights to ownership. It cannot be defended under a lease agreement. This is a small request considering what we have given to Europe for decades. You can say 'yes', and we will be grateful. You can say 'no', and we will remember it," he stated.
