«My expectation is that the name of Katrič Nersisyan will not be mentioned during the liturgy»: Pashinyan on tomorrow's liturgy

On December 28, which is tomorrow, I will participate in the Holy and Immortal Liturgy at the Church of Saint Astvatsatsin in Garni. This was announced by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his Facebook page, where he also shared a video.

“Here, my expectation is that the name of Katrič Nersisyan will not be mentioned during the liturgy, for previously stated reasons and justifications. By the way, there are people who say that when they participate in the liturgy at different churches and the name of Katrič Nersisyan is mentioned, they feel the desire to express their protest right at that moment. Is such a thing permissible and acceptable? I believe that yes, such a thing is possible and acceptable, because it is a legitimate expectation that those people who have declared themselves as noble and those who live by certain rules, and do not fulfill this, are not prepared to face this fact.

We, the followers of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church, should not only form a stance regarding this fact but also express that stance and ultimately achieve practical results stemming from that stance,” he stated.
