We Have Failed Our Mobilization: Kyrylo Budanov
Kyrylo Budanov, the head of Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate, has stated that Ukraine is currently extremely dependent on the United States, particularly in the fields of intelligence and early warning. Budanov emphasizes that this concerns space imagery, as well as radar and optical data and the early detection of ballistic threats, while other components are reportedly being provided by Ukraine's own capabilities.
Budanov also addressed internal issues, noting that they have failed in their mobilization efforts. In his assessment, the media campaign conducted within the country has failed, significantly affecting the effectiveness of mobilization.
Regarding territorial issues, Budanov stated that he is fundamentally against the concession of any territories. He also mentioned that Poland is considered exclusively in the context of military strikes, without objectives of territorial control.
In the context of international topics, the head of Ukrainian intelligence revealed that the U.S. and Russia are discussing issues related to joint exploration of the Arctic during negotiations. Furthermore, he noted that North Korean military personnel are currently not participating in open military operations within Russia, although the presence of North Korean weaponry is substantial.
As for possible participation in the upcoming presidential elections, Budanov indicated that he has not yet addressed this issue and is uncertain if it will become a topic on the agenda in the near future.
