Yerevan and Baku are Shaping a New Status Quo in the South Caucasus: Hikmet Hajiyev

Based on just peace, we are creating new realities and a new status quo in the South Caucasus, said Hikmet Hajiyev, assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, at the Doha Conference held in Qatar.

According to him, many peace agreements signed in various regions of the world previously have not yielded results, as the parties have weakened their peace efforts after signing.

“Armenia and Azerbaijan are trying to avoid such a situation. Both sides understand that peace is a process that requires continuous work,” emphasized Hajiyev. He added that Yerevan and Baku maintain constant communication and are advancing the implementation of already reached agreements.
