If Kitrich Comes Out to Meet Them, It Will Be a Complete Show. Arayik Harutyunyan
The Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Arayik Harutyunyan, has commented on social media regarding the recent statements made by Ishkhan Saghatelyan, Narek Karapetyan, and Levon Kocharyan following the invitation of the diocesan bishops of the Armenian Apostolic Church to the citizens to gather at the Mother See.
“Today, they have a mission to save Kitrich Nersisyan—Plain Rayan— but they are framing it as saving the Church with the pompous slogan 'national value is at risk.' I thought I would re-read the Ten Commandments. I found it difficult to find one, and I am not very sure that they haven't violated it:
1. I am the Lord your God; you shall have no other gods before me (Exodus 20:2-3).
2. You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth (Exodus 20:4).
3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain (Exodus 20:7).
4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy (Exodus 20:8).
5. Honor your father and your mother (Exodus 20:12).
6. You shall not kill (Exodus 20:13).
7. You shall not commit adultery (Exodus 20:14).
8. You shall not steal (Exodus 20:15).
9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor (Exodus 20:16).
10. You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's (Exodus 20:17).
P.S. If Kitrich comes out to meet them, it will be a complete show,” Harutyunyan wrote.
It is noted that a group of bishops of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church, who met with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, issued a new statement on December 17: “Dear spiritual brothers, faithful people of Armenia, come and join us on December 18 at 17:00 at the spiritual center of the Armenian people, the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, to urgently call for PEACE, which has become an immediate necessity. May Almighty God bless our national mission and realize the long-standing dreams and desires of spiritual servants and believers.”
