Beijing Will Consistently Defend Palestine's Role, Says China's Foreign Ministry

China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi has announced that Beijing will consistently defend Palestine's leading role in the post-war governance of Gaza.

“China will continue to support Palestine's dominant position in the post-war governance of Gaza and will call on the international community to effectively fulfill its obligations,” the minister stated in an interview with Chinese media following his visits to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan.

He emphasized that any agreements regarding the future of Gaza must respect the will of the Palestinian people and consider the legitimate interests of Middle Eastern countries.
