Armenia-Iran Relations Develop with a Clear Strategic Vision, Ambassador
Relations between Armenia and Iran have not only maintained their high dynamics this year but have also progressed on a deeper and more strategic foundation. This was stated by Armenia's Ambassador to Iran, Grigor Hakobyan, in an interview with Tasnim news agency.
Ambassador Hakobyan, discussing the bilateral relations and the steps taken to further develop these ties during his mission, noted that the relations between Yerevan and Tehran have always been characterized by mutual respect, trust, and a quality of friendship that holds particular value in the South Caucasus region.
“Our two peoples are united by millennia of historical ties, which today have turned into dynamic and mutually beneficial cooperation, encompassing numerous sectors. It is important to emphasize that these relations are evolving not due to situational motivations, but with a clear strategic vision. And what does this strategic vision entail? As Prime Minister Pashinyan and President Raeisi fixed in Yerevan this August, our countries' relationships should reach a strategic nature,” stated the Ambassador, expressing hope that these inherently strategic relations will soon acquire a legal basis, establishing new horizons for the development of cooperation.
