Armenia and Russia’s Deputy Prime Ministers Meet in Yerevan, Several Documents Signed
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Mher Grigoryan, and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Alexei Overchuk, co-chaired the 24th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation in Yerevan.
The co-chairs of the intergovernmental commission discussed the outcomes of the decisions made during the 23rd meeting held in Moscow on December 20, 2024. They analyzed the comprehensive trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian relations between Armenia and Russia, as well as outlined further steps for developing cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats.
The parties specifically addressed sectors including energy, industry, transportation, agriculture, digitization, healthcare, culture, science, education, and tourism.
As a result of the negotiations, Mher Grigoryan and Alexei Overchuk signed the minutes of the 24th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation. A number of bilateral documents were also signed at the level of respective agencies from Russia and Armenia with the participation of the co-chairs of the intergovernmental commission.
