The People Must Stand for Peace with Their Choice, Says Prime Minister

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has stated that the year 2026 will be a decisive year for peace. According to him, the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for June will have a pivotal political significance: the maintenance of peace.

“The people of the Republic of Armenia must stand for peace with their choice, which is the key political meaning and goal of the upcoming elections,” Pashinyan said.

The Prime Minister added that this matter is perceived the same way from the perspective of the government, history, and all other possible angles. “On the contrary, rolling back Armenia will only lead to conflict,” he emphasized.

Pashinyan stated that stable peace is a necessary prerequisite for the country's development and the strengthening of state institutions.
