Turkey Plans to Send Illegal Syrian Migrants to Aleppo from the EU
Turkey is negotiating with Russia and Syria to send Syrian refugees and illegal migrants to the Aleppo province, according to Gazeta.ru, as reported by the AHaber television channel.
It has been reported that a trilateral mechanism has been established between Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's ruling party (Justice and Development Party), the European Union, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs to facilitate the return of asylum seekers and illegal migrants back to Syria.
There are also reports indicating that dormitories are already being built in Aleppo for future migrants, along with the creation of job opportunities in the safer regions of the province.
Previously, it was reported that Turkey would complicate the acquisition of citizenship for migrants in exchange for a visa-free regime with the EU.
