Aliyev Orders Increase in Troop Readiness

Upon the directive of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the leadership of the Ministry of Defense has examined the combat readiness level and supply status of the Azerbaijani army units.

Following an assessment of the conditions created for military personnel on site, Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov provided additional instructions to relevant officials regarding preparations for the winter period, enhancements to living conditions in the units, increasing troop readiness, seasonal maintenance of weapons and equipment, and ensuring uninterrupted supply.

The Defense Minister spoke about the successful reforms in military construction implemented under Ilham Aliyev’s leadership and highlighted Azerbaijan's growing reputation in the international arena, achieved through the decisive defense of the interests and positions of the Azerbaijani people at prestigious events by the head of state.
