Russia Warns That Ukraine's NATO Membership Would Be 'Extremely Dangerous'
US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin recently stated that no third country can veto decisions regarding NATO membership, discussing the prospect of Ukraine joining NATO. He emphasized that "Ukraine has the right to determine its own foreign policy future, and we expect them to be able to do so without outside interference."
Today, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko declared that Ukraine's accession to NATO would be "an extremely dangerous step and will have consequences," according to RIA Novosti. The official added, "NATO knows our position regarding Ukraine."
