Aliyev's Statement on Capturing Kovsakan and Entering the Lachin Corridor

“Exactly one year ago, our army raised the Azerbaijani flag in Zangezur (Kovsakan). After the liberation of Zangezur, the road to Kubatlu (Sanasar) was opened for us, and five days later it was liberated. Then we reached the Lachin Corridor,” Azerbaijan's President Aliyev announced in Kovsakan. His words are reported by Interfax.

“When we entered the Lachin Corridor, the enemy realized that further resistance was futile,” he continued.
