Erdogan States Aliyev Spoke with Pashinyan; Details Revealed

The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, while returning to Turkey from Rome (G20 summit), provided details of the meetings that took place during the summit and answered journalists' questions, as reported by Ermenihaber.am.

Speaking about his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, Erdogan noted that several issues were discussed, including the South Caucasus matter. He informed Macron that positive steps are currently being taken in the South Caucasus, and Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev is determined to continue these positive developments.

The Turkish president also mentioned that Aliyev had a conversation with Pashinyan, during which the establishment of a platform involving six parties in the region was put on the agenda. "If Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iran, Georgia, and alongside them, Armenia, all accept it, then we will have truly created a platform for peace," Erdogan concluded.
