The Second Phase of the Peace Plan in Gaza Begins 'Right Now'

US President Donald Trump, commenting on the resolution of the Gaza situation, stated that work is not finished and that the second phase of the peace plan begins 'right now.'

'All 20 hostages have been returned and are doing well, as expected. We have been relieved of that burden, but the work is not done; the bodies of the deceased have not been returned as promised. The second phase begins right now,' wrote Trump on the Truth Social platform.

The situation in Gaza had escalated following a series of attacks between Israel and Hamas. Earlier, Egypt, with the mediation of the US, had initiated negotiations aimed at establishing a ceasefire. The previous ceasefire agreement, signed several months ago, had been repeatedly violated. According to the parties, the new document aims to establish lasting peace in the region and stabilize the humanitarian situation.
