What Condition Does Israel Have Not to Strike Iran
Israel has assured the United States that it will not strike Iran's nuclear facilities until U.S. President Donald Trump states that negotiations between Washington and Tehran have failed. This was reported by the Axios news platform, citing informed sources.
According to Israeli officials, the commitments were made during the visit of Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, Mossad Director David Barnea, and National Security Advisor Tzachi Hanegbi to Washington last week. The White House is still awaiting Iran's response to the proposal for a nuclear deal.
Iranian authorities have announced that they are currently working on a response. On June 4, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei stated that the conditions put forward by the U.S. for resolving issues related to Tehran's nuclear program contradict Iran's interests.
