Lukashenko Prepares Special Gift for Putin

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, is planning to personally present a large landscape painting as a birthday gift for Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was reported by the Belarusian leader’s press secretary, Natalia Eismont, according to RIA Novosti.

“Our president will personally hand over his gift to the President of Russia, as agreed. I can say that it is quite a beautiful painting, specially commissioned from our famous Belarusian artist Maslenikov,” she said.

It should be noted that Lukashenko had prepared a birthday gift for his Russian counterpart, which the Russian president celebrated on October 7. However, it was not presented during the recent CIS summit held in Dushanbe.
