Meeting with Erdoğan Will Provide a New Impetus for Bilateral Relations: Pashinyan

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with representatives of the Armenian community in Istanbul. In his remarks, the Prime Minister emphasized the significance of his working visit to Turkey, noting that it has come about as a result of the recently intensified dialogue with Turkey.

He highlighted the importance of the upcoming meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, expressing hope that it will give new impetus to bilateral relations. According to the Prime Minister, the visit is centered on the interstate relations between Armenia and Turkey, and the ongoing process reflects an agenda aimed at establishing relations that serve the interests of both countries.

At the same time, Prime Minister Pashinyan stressed the role of the Armenian community in Turkey in the process of establishing interstate relations and deepening dialogue. He answered questions from participants regarding today's visit, steps towards establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, regional developments, the “Real Armenia” ideology, and several other topics.
