Ministry of Internal Affairs on Mass Arrests

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has received operational data regarding preparations for actions aimed at disrupting public order. This was announced by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Narek Sargsyan.

"The Ministry of Internal Affairs is conducting enhanced services, during which preventive and explanatory work is being carried out. We urge everyone to maintain public order. Any illegal manifestations will be met with a harsh response," Sargsyan said.

It is noteworthy that a coalition of five human rights defenders has reported that after noon, several dozen citizens with opposition views from various political forces and groups have been arrested or detained in Yerevan and several regions.
