Video: Prime Minister's Spokesperson Apologizes After Saying 'Artsakh' and Corrects Herself
The spokesperson for the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, apologized and corrected herself after using the term 'Artsakh' during a press briefing on the numbers and conditions of those forcibly displaced from Artsakh.
It should be noted that during one of the press conferences, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed this issue, saying 'Artsakh or Nagorno-Karabakh': 'I say Nagorno-Karabakh because I can explain to the international community what that means. There is a signed document regarding this, and when some people see a conspiracy in the use of the term Nagorno-Karabakh and insist on saying - Artsakh, Artsakh- they are essentially aligning their position with the official position of Azerbaijan, which states that Nagorno-Karabakh does not exist. You say - say 'Artsakh.' Artsakh, so what?' Pashinyan stated.
