Trump Issues Statement: Israel Will Suffer Great Damages

U.S. President Donald Trump believes that the ongoing military operations in Gaza are harming Israel and its interests, particularly in terms of public opinion and relations with other countries. He expressed this in an interview with The Daily Caller.

"They will have to end this war, it is hurting Israel, there is no doubt about that. They may be winning the war, but they are not winning in the court of public opinion, you know, it is hurting them," Trump said.

He added that Israel's recent actions in the Middle East have also weakened the influence of its lobbyists in Congress. According to Trump, 15-20 years ago, Israel had the strongest lobbying resources in Congress, but now their influence is waning. "They had complete control over Congress, and now they do not, you know, I am a bit surprised by that," the U.S. president noted.

At the same time, the U.S. president emphasized that no one before him had done as much for Israel as he and his administration have done. He pointed out that in nearly two years, Western society has begun to forget the horrors of the attacks carried out by the radical Hamas movement on peaceful Israelis on October 7, 2023, which were followed by military operations in Gaza.
