US President Donald Trump has announced that he will send letters to dozens of countries to inform them about new tariffs coming into effect on August 1. This was stated by the US President during a conversation with reporters, according to RIA Novosti.

“We will begin sending letters to different countries. Tomorrow, I believe we will send out 10 or 12 letters, and in the next few days, I think by July 9, we will notify everyone,” said Trump. He added that the United States does not wish to complicate the situation and intends to act “within the limits of reason.”
