Kadyrov Reveals How Putin Congratulated Him on His Birthday

The leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, revealed that Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated him on his birthday, as reported by RIA Novosti. Kadyrov celebrated his birthday, turning 49 years old.

“First of all, I want to say (that - ed.) the president (congratulated me - ed.). And he asked to convey greetings and congratulations to everyone on Youth Day, Teacher's Day, and the Day of Grozny city. And, including me, he also congratulated,” said the Chechen leader.

On Wednesday, Kadyrov told reporters that he does not like to receive gifts; once he even sold them and shared the money with the underprivileged.
