A Bill to Nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize Submitted to the Parliament

A bill to nominate U.S. President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize has been submitted to the Supreme Parliament. “The initiative has likely not yet been approved by the president’s administration,” the publication states.

Previously, French President Emmanuel Macron had stated that Trump could be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize only if he ceases the conflict in Gaza.

Nobel Committee Secretary Christian Berg Harpviken has stated that they do not respond to calls for awarding the peace prize to the U.S. president and operate completely independently.
