Tsarukyan Presents the 'Proposal for Armenia' Program

Dear compatriots, back in May during my interview, I announced that I was initiating the development of the 'Proposal for Armenia' program. This is a cross-party initiative. It is a program where every citizen will see the formulation of the most acute and urgent problems of their family and state, along with possible solutions.

This was stated by Gagik Tsarukyan on his Facebook page. 'This program should be formulated through the joint efforts of sector experts, reputable scientists, public figures, and caring individuals who have suggestions, thoughts, and ideas. It will be constructed with the direct involvement of citizens and the best specialists from Armenia and the diaspora. During its development, the program will constantly be subjected to public discussions, and the suggestions of citizens and experts will always be taken into account. This will be a public, open process.'

As the initiator of this initiative, I propose to start the program's work with this brief summary: Armenia needs:

1. Internal reconciliation, public dialogue, the elimination of enmity, and the restoration of unity within the Armenian world.

2. The suspension, freezing, and review of several controversial laws and decisions that harm the country and poison the lives of hundreds of thousands of people.

3. Competent-peaceful negotiations, exclusion of unilateral concessions, a real peace program, neutralization of the risk of war, restoration of allied relations, the creation of a real security system, and the implementation of new large economic projects.

Is it possible to ensure broad public mobilization around these simple points? Definitely—yes,' he wrote.
