Video: Lawsuit Filed Against Avinyan by Mother Armenia Faction Member

Samvel Hakobyan, a member of the Yerevan City Council from the Mother Armenia faction, stated during a meeting that he has submitted a complaint to the administrative court, claiming that Tigran Avinyan has not properly assumed his powers in accordance with the law.

“Until Tigran Avinyan, three mayors ensured quorum at the swearing-in ceremony. However, Avinyan insists that it is an agenda meeting and does not require quorum. During the question and answer session in the National Assembly, Avinyan’s teammate Gnel Sanosyan and his deputy confirmed our thesis that a legally mandated session must have quorum,” detailed Hakobyan.
