The Prime Minister Has Not Sent Anyone to Silence Someone; That Is Not His Method - Avinyan

After his resignation, such statements can bring neither honor to a soldier nor to an ordinary citizen. The way of dismissal is incomprehensible and unacceptable to me. This was stated today, September 24, during a conversation with reporters by the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Avinyan, addressing the statements of the former Director of the National Security Service, Arthur Vanetsyan.

“I am just following the series of Mr. Vanetsyan’s statements with sorrow. I believe a public official should not resign in such a manner and make such statements after being dismissed,” noted the Deputy Prime Minister.

When asked about the allegations made by the former NSS director regarding violations of agreements with the Prime Minister, Tigran Avinyan responded, “I cannot say what agreements the former head of the NSS is referring to. Personally knowing the Prime Minister, I can say that he would never send anyone to silence someone; that is not his method or style.”
