Breaking: Can You Imagine if I Suddenly Start Talking? Arthur Vanetsyan
Arthur Vanetsyan commented on the statements of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in an interview with hraparak.am.
“During a press conference in Los Angeles, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan once again spoke about things he understands little about. Despite my resignation, he continues to send people to me, asking me to remain silent for some time so that the situation calms down. However, I see that he is once again violating agreements and making unclear, essentially populist statements about nothing at all.
It is clear that being driven by the desire to have a short-term effect on public sentiment, Nikol Pashinyan does not think about the consequences of his words. Can you imagine if I suddenly start talking without considering the repercussions? How long can one mislead the public by insisting that ‘anyone who is not with us is a traitor to the nation’? If someone disagrees with this claim, then according to the Prime Minister, they must be acting on behalf of the previous leaders. I have said this before and I repeat: do not try to link me with the former leaders.
It is logical that those who lack military knowledge and have superficial perceptions of military mentality and their debt to the Homeland cannot understand the significance of a soldier's honor and insignia. By the way, let me remind you that according to the Constitution of Armenia, the Prime Minister is not the supreme commander during peacetime. I regret that it has come to this.
The attentive reader has understood what I meant by my resignation statement, and I firmly assert that time will reveal who or what will end up in the dumpster. I believe that our people will never be demoralized and will no longer fall for manipulative statements. In my resignation text, I said that it should serve as a sobering call. In all other scenarios, the debt to the Homeland will prevail. Peace and security to our country. I am honored.”
Note: Arthur Vanetsyan also mentioned that he will talk about his future plans soon.
Recall that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan commented on the resignation text of former NSS Director Arthur Vanetsyan during a meeting with reporters in Los Angeles yesterday, offering sharp assessments. “He, de jure being the NSS Director, is essentially making a statement against his supreme commander and, as a subordinate body to the Prime Minister, is making a statement against his leader. There is no greater disgrace to a soldier’s honor. I later learned that this material was posted on the service's website. They removed it, but what else could they do? Should it continue to remain? If a soldier does such a thing, it means throwing the insignia in the garbage. The last time something like this happened was during the 1991 coup plotters,” said Pashinyan.
