We Continue to Supply Nuclear Fuel to Unfriendly Countries: Putin

Russia continues to supply nuclear fuel to unfriendly countries in large volumes. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting in Sarov with nuclear physicists and experts in the atomic sector.

“What we have previously done in those countries that you refer to as unfriendly, we continue to do; we supply nuclear fuel up until now and we do it in large volumes. Are we providing services? Yes, we are providing them almost in the same volumes. New developments are emerging, especially in nuclear medicine and other related fields, and that remains the case,” said Putin.

At the same time, the Russian leader noted that “for Russia, there are no unfriendly countries, there are only unfriendly elites in those states.” He also mentioned that Russian scientists continue to work with European specialists. According to Putin, the leadership of Rosatom is succeeding in building friendly relations with foreign partners.
