Tehran Ready for Nuclear Program Talks if US Does Not Strike
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated that the United States must guarantee military non-intervention for negotiations regarding Iran's nuclear program to resume. This was reported by the Tasnim news agency.
Araqchi emphasized that the U.S. must first change its behavior and refrain from attacking Iran. If this happens, talks can continue.
It is worth noting that since April 12, there have been five rounds of indirect negotiations between Iran and the U.S., mediated by Oman. A subsequent meeting aimed at discussing the nuclear program was canceled after Israel struck Iran in June.
Additionally, U.S. attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordow, Isfahan, and Natanz occurred on June 22. Iranian authorities have repeatedly asserted that their nuclear program is solely for peaceful purposes.
