Hezbollah Movement Regains Military Capabilities
The Hezbollah movement has restored its military capabilities and is prepared to repel potential aggression from the United States and Israel against Lebanon. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
“If Israel decides to start a war against Lebanon with the support of the United States, it will require an immediate response... We are fully prepared to repel any Israeli attack on Lebanon,” said Mahmoud Kamati, a member of the movement's Political Council.
“We absolutely do not trust the American administration and blame it for standing behind all acts of aggression and killings in the region. The U.S. is responsible for the assassination of Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, which was carried out by Israel. We do not wish to engage in any dialogue with the United States and reject any talks of negotiations. We continue to adhere to the strategy of ‘strategic patience,’ which at this moment aligns with Lebanon’s interests,” Kamati added.
For its part, the Israeli army claims that strikes are aimed at Hezbollah’s military infrastructure with the goal of eliminating its combat leadership. Tel Aviv has repeatedly stated that it will continue to strike Lebanon in order to eliminate the threat posed by Shiite resistance.
Hassan Nasrallah, along with many other Hezbollah leaders, was killed in September 2024 during an Israeli bombing of the movement's headquarters in Southern Beirut.
