150 Illegal Migrants Detected in Moscow Region

During a raid in the Balashikha area of the Moscow region, law enforcement officials checked over 500 migrants, discovering violations in approximately 150 cases. This was reported by the press service of the Rosgvardiya.

According to the report, the operation, conducted with the support of the "Avangard" special-purpose forces of the Main Department of the Rosgvardiya in Moscow, involved personnel from the Russian Investigative Committee's military investigative division, the military commissariat, the regional security department, as well as employees of federal security services in Moscow and the Moscow region.

The Rosgvardiya indicated that the illegal migrants were taken to the police for further checks. Notifications were also issued to 35 citizens who were not registered with military offices.

Earlier, Azerbaijani media reported that Russia's special forces conducted operations in one of the Moscow markets, during which a significant number of migrants from Azerbaijan were detained.
