Road Closures on April 23 and 24

In order to ensure the safety of participants in the torchlight procession commemorating the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, access for vehicles to Republic Square will be restricted starting from 18:30 on April 23, 2025, in all directions. This was announced by the Armenian National Police.

From 19:00 onwards, the following streets will sequentially close to vehicle traffic: Amiryan Street, Mashtots and Baghramyan Avenues, and Kievyan Street.

Additionally, to ensure the safety of participants at the memorial service at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex, traffic will be prohibited on April 24 starting from 07:00. Specifically, traffic will be restricted on Tsitsernakaberd Highway at the intersection with Leningradian Street, on Athens Street at the intersection with Isakov Avenue, and on Verfel Street towards Brazil Square.

Furthermore, on April 24, from 07:00 to 10:30, access to the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex will be closed due to state ceremonial events.
