Hezbollah Commander's Elimination Confirmed

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have eliminated the commander of the Shiite group Hezbollah at the "Majdal Zun" military complex in southern Lebanon. This was reported by the press service of the Israeli army.

According to the statement, "The Israeli Air Force has destroyed the Hezbollah commander responsible for the Majdal Zun complex, who was located in the southern Lebanese area of Haniya."

It is noteworthy that in February, the IDF completed the withdrawal of its troops from Southern Lebanon in accordance with a ceasefire agreement reached with Israeli authorities after a year of escalating tensions, set for November 2024. However, the Israeli military has retained a presence at five strategic positions in Southern Lebanon, citing security oversight.
