Azerbaijani Armed Forces Open Fire on Residential House in Khoznavar, Reports Armenian Defense Ministry

On April 20, at approximately 02:30, Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire towards the village of Khoznavar in the Syunik region, damaging a solar water heater installed on one of the village's residential houses.

“There are no casualties. We call on the Azerbaijani side to investigate the shelling of the residential house in Khoznavar and to provide public clarifications. We remind that the Armenian government offered to establish a joint mechanism for investigating incidents or reports of violations of the ceasefire regime between Armenia and Azerbaijan, to which Azerbaijan has not yet responded,” the statement reads.
