Israeli Forces Achieve Main Objective in Gaza

Israeli forces have completed the encirclement of the Rafah area in southern Gaza, as announced by the Israeli Ministry of Defense.
The Israeli army had declared the start of the assault towards Rafah on April 2, stating that the main objective of the operation was to capture the Monrag corridor, which separates the Palestinian areas of Rafah and Khan Younis.
“In the last 24 hours, units of the 36th Division have completed the opening of the Monrag corridor, isolating Khan Younis from Rafah,” the Israeli army stated.
