Armenian Defense Ministry Issues Statement

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's statement claiming that on April 11, from 20:10 to 23:15, units of the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire towards Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern and southeastern parts of the border, does not correspond to reality.

It is worth recalling that the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia proposed to establish a joint mechanism for investigating incidents of ceasefire violations and/or information regarding them between Armenia and Azerbaijan, to which Azerbaijan has not yet responded.

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia reaffirms its readiness to investigate the facts supporting the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's statement, provided that these facts are communicated to Armenia.
