Hydrogen Bomb Successfully Tested in China
Ofelya
Chinese researchers have successfully tested an explosive device based on hydrogen that does not contain any nuclear material. This was reported by the South China Morning Post (SCMP).
According to the publication, the device was developed by the China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) research institute. Such a bomb uses a magnesium hydride chemical compound. During the experimental detonation of the two-kilogram device, a fireball with temperatures exceeding one thousand degrees Celsius was produced.
The creators believe that this combination allows for precise control over the explosion's intensity, easily achieving uniform strikes on targets across a vast area.
