Russia is a ‘Chronic Threat’ to the US, NATO General

The Supreme Allied Commander of NATO, General Christopher Cavoli, has stated that Russia represents a ‘chronic threat’ to the United States. This information was reported by РИА Новости.

“Russia poses a chronic threat to the US,” said the Commander during a session of the relevant committee of the US Senate.

The General added that the conflict in Ukraine continues as Russia seeks to gain geopolitical advantage. He also noted that Russia is accelerating the growth of its armed forces and is replacing combat equipment and ammunition faster than analysts had predicted.

Furthermore, Cavoli mentioned that NATO allies are preparing to provide Ukraine with additional multifunctional F-16 aircraft.
