Armenian Defense Ministry Issues Statement

The statement from the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan claiming that on the evening of March 29 and the morning of March 30, units of the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire on Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern and southeastern sections of the border does not reflect reality. This was announced by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

It is worth noting that the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia proposed to create a joint mechanism for investigating incidents of ceasefire violations and/or information related to such, to which Azerbaijan has yet to respond.

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia reaffirms that in line with the position of the Prime Minister’s Office, it is ready to investigate the facts supporting the statement of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, provided that these facts are conveyed to Armenia.
