Shirak Police Mobilizes for Local Elections in Gyumri and Parakar

The police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has intensified its operations in Gyumri and Parakar in connection with the local self-government elections. There is a significant police presence in these communities.

In a conversation with Haykakan Jamanak, officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that, as is customary for every election, the police are working under heightened alert, which is the reason for the increased police presence in these areas.

The aim is to ensure public order, safety, and the smooth conduct of the elections, the Ministry of Internal Affairs clarified.
