Death Toll in Myanmar Earthquake Reaches 1002, 2376 Injured

At least 1002 people have died and 2376 have been injured in a powerful earthquake that struck Myanmar, according to the AFP agency citing the country's military authorities. The number of casualties may increase.

Yesterday, a magnitude 7.7 earthquake occurred in Myanmar. The tremors were felt in Bangladesh, India, Thailand, Laos, and China as well.
