New Appointments in the Ministry of Defense

Based on the recommendations of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, President Vahagn Khachaturyan has signed decrees appointing several key officials in the Ministry of Defense.

Colonel Levon Davidyan has been appointed as the commander of the Special Forces, Major General Alexander Tsakhanyan has been appointed as the First Deputy Head of the Operational Main Department of the Armed Forces General Staff, Colonel Simon Nazaryan has been appointed as the commander of the 3rd Army Corps, Colonel Gagik Poghosyan has been appointed as the commander of the 5th Army Corps, and Major General Albert Baghdadyan has been appointed as the head of the National Defense Research University of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
