Our System is Ready for That: Anahit Avanesyan

The Ministry of Health is keen to implement a comprehensive health insurance system as soon as possible. "I believe that our system is ready for that," stated the Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan during a conversation with reporters, highlighting that this reform is highly anticipated by the citizens.

"We will do everything to make it happen," she added. When asked whether the funding allocated for the insurance system's implementation has been coordinated with the ministry, she responded that the Ministry of Health is a member of the government, and the government has voted for the project.

"But the budget will also undergo a certain phase of discussion based on the proposals from the National Assembly," she noted. She also informed that the draft law has been sent to the National Assembly, and discussions are planned with the factions of the National Assembly regarding it.
