Photos: Citizen Cuts Down 45 Trees in Yerevan

Today, in the Davtashen administrative district on Pirumyan Street, a citizen cut down a total of 45 trees of the species of maple under still unknown circumstances. This was reported by the press secretary of the mayor, Hayk Kostanyan.

“Following the report of the incident, the head of the administrative district and members of the staff were present on-site, along with the heads and employees of the Greenery and Environment Organization, as well as representatives of law enforcement agencies, which resulted in the prevention of further tree cutting. Two individuals have been taken to the police department regarding the incident,” Kostanyan stated.
