Auroras are likely as a result of this storm. This information was provided by Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, via his Telegram channel.

"Today, after 10 PM Yerevan time, a weak magnetic storm of G1 class will begin on Earth. On Friday morning, after 7 AM, the magnetic storm will intensify. After that, with fluctuations in intensity from weak to strong, the magnetic storm is expected to last until 10 PM Saturday," he wrote.

On October 6, the specialist noted that the geomagnetic field will maintain a weak disturbance. A calm state of the planet's magnetosphere is anticipated at the beginning of next week. The magnetic storm may cause disruptions in the operation of energy systems. Furthermore, there is a high probability of interruptions in shortwave communication and navigational systems, as well as possible voltage disruptions in industrial networks.
