French actor Alain Delon has passed away at the age of 88, according to reports from French media.
The actor, director, and screenwriter gained immense fame for his roles in films such as "Rocco and His Brothers" (1960), "Plein Soleil" (1960), "Le Samouraï" (1967), and "Two Men in Town." Delon was a recipient of the César Award for his performance in "Our History" and received an honorary award at the Berlin International Film Festival.
In 2019, Delon was honored with the prestigious Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival for his contributions to cinema.
