23-Year-Old Driver Rolls Over into Field: Two Passengers are Minors

Today, on August 15, an accident occurred in the Syunik region. Around 11:50 AM, on the 12th kilometer of the Goris-Shinuhayr highway, a 23-year-old resident of Syunik, Martun T., lost control of his VAZ-2121 vehicle, veered left off the roadway, and rolled into the field.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamsyan, as a result of the accident, driver Martun T. and passengers, residents of Syunik aged 27 (Martela T.), 14 (P. S.), 40 (Sona H.), and 16 (V. H.) were transferred to the Goris Medical Center with bodily injuries.

The Goris Investigative Division has initiated a criminal proceeding regarding the incident. At the scene, the driver of the VAZ-2121 stated that the cause of the accident was the driver of a Willys who created a hazardous situation, but the Willys driver denied this, claiming that it did not happen.
